John Edward Bradley passed away suddenly, January 2, 2024, at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Michele Kelly. Devoted father of Elizabeth Bradley, John W. Bradley (Sara), and Peter Bradley. Loving grandpop of Stella Bradley; also survived by his brother George (Terry) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. John was a retired Police Lieutenant with the City of Philadelphia after 37 years of service.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday Eve. 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also Tuesday, 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Assumption BVM Church. Interment - Resurrection Cemetery. June 17 1957 Class 136, Assigned 23rd, 32nd, 14th, 12, North Central Detective Division, Homicide, Juvenile Aid Division, County Detectives. Retired November 15 2003. Also served United States Air Force Korean War. Father of Captain Gerald W. Saunders Jr. Naval Police. Chief Gerald W. Saunders Sr. passed away on November 15, 2023.

Vaughan Lee Davis died in Mesa, Arizona. Born in Indiana County, he graduated from Purchase Line High School before attending Pasadena Community College. After graduating from college, he returned to Indiana, and served in the district attorney’s office in 1968. He was promoted to chief county detective in 1972, before serving a term as the Indiana County commissioner from 1976 to 1979. Law enforcement would continue to be a major part of his life, as he would become chief of investigation for the Office of the Auditor General and chief of investigation for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. He would later teach at the IUP Police Academy and was inducted into the International Police Association Hall of Fame. In the private sector, he was a participant in SRS Security, and later had Davis Security. Visitation is scheduled for Friday afternoon and evening at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home in Indiana.
