CDAP Summer Conference & Training Institute - July 21 - 24, 2016
CDAP is pleased to present our training institute on the following timely topic:
ACTIVE SHOOTER INCIDENTS
Topical Discussions:
The seminar is educational, informative, and thought-provoking for professionals who have organizational responsibility for keeping people safe in an active-shooter incident. The FBI will present a short film provided by our Criminal, Cyber, Response and Services Branch. It draws from real-life active- shooter incidents. It depicts the issues and incidents faced by law enforcement, paramedics, fire, and other first responders and victims. The film, The Coming Storm, and its accompanying documentary, Managing the Storm, will inspire discussion, preparation, and collaboration in helping your organization manage these devastating and potentially overwhelming events.
Instructor:
Special Agent Sean Quinn
Special Agent Sean Quinn is a 19 year FBI veteran who has served in assignments in Newark, NJ, Washington, DC, Baghdad, Iraq, and currently in Scranton, Pa. Special Agent Quinn has worked numerous investigations including Public Corruption, Violent Crime, Crimes Against Children, Civil Rights, Complex Financial Crime and others. Special Agent Quinn leads the FBI’s Scranton Resident Agency supervising investigations and operations in Northeast Pennsylvania. The office covers Wyoming, Susquehanna, Wayne, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Carbon, Monroe, and Pike counties. He is also a retired 23 year veteran of the US Army, US Army Reserve, and Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
