Dolores (DiGiacomo) Donofrio Ciaccio passed away on Thursday October 15, 2015 she was 86. Mrs. Ciaccio of Norristown was a member of Holy Saviour Church and the Red Hat Society. Dolores was a professional vocalist and sang with many local Big Bands including Jimmy Ray at the Policeman’s Ball and the Sal Nave Band. In her later years she entertained at Senior Suites with Dolores’ Chorus. She was a retired secretary for the local 380 IBEW. Dolores enjoyed singing, sewing and crocheting. Born in Bridgeport on August 29, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Cuomo) DiGiacomo. She is survived by her husband Frank “Hank Cisco” Ciaccio; one son Michael Donofrio; three daughters Joanne Marano, Carol (Richard) Griffith and Mary Ciaccio; two brothers Rudolph “Rudy” DiGiacomo and Anthony DiGiacomo and one sister Ann Kitterman. Dolores had four grandchildren Christen, Anthony, Lauren and Richard. She was predeceased by two brothers Paul DiGiacomo and Albert James as well as sisters Mary Arena, Yolanda DiGiacomo, Nora McGee, Theresa Gordon and Hilda Shade. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Monday, October 19 at 10 AM at Holy Saviour church. Entombment St. Patrick’s Mausoleum. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Rd., East Norriton and on Monday from 9 to 10 AM at the church.
